       JABBARISTAN

    DJabbar was born once upon a time in East Turkey 'Urfa' into a Kurdish family. He and his family then moved to West Turkey where his musical journey began. When growing up he focused on Kurdish, Anatolian, Gypsy & Balkan as a traditional musician. He then started playing and forming his own bands to take the traditional songs and creating more of a fusion style. He started busking in Istanbul which then lead him to London and India. In 2011 in London he started playing with "The Turbans" which lead him to tour all around the world. Djabbar Baba brought a Middle East Soul to the western world. With no surprise hes project "The Turbans" then played the almighty West Holts stage at Glastonbury in 2019.
